New Year, New Blog

As we welcome the new year, we also welcome in the bombardment of new years "resolutions". Which often are eerily the same as the previous years kick start goals! For most of us, it's usually either "lose weight, get in shape" or "read the bible more". At least most of my previous lists consist of mostly those two aspirations. I find myself this year though tossing aside these resolutions, as rather a mindset than a list of things I would like to accomplish. I find the Lord helping me not stress so much about my goals, but to use them as something to work towards... no matter how long it takes. You know why? Life gets in the way.

We all know this, what we plan more than likely never happens how we envision it! That does not mean we are failures if we do not accomplish these things. It means the Lord has his own set of secret resolutions for your faith journey this year, and if you are willing He will be sure that you achieve all the things HE has in mind for you to do for Him, for you, for your family, and for others this year. Isn't it exciting to know that God has His own agenda for you in 2015? It honestly sure excites me, because it helps me focus on the things that are more important. Yes, I would like to be a bit more comfortable in my clothes, but hey? When it comes, it comes. And all I have planned will come to be for me, when it's Gods timing, if I put Him first. And that is okay.

So now that we have welcomed an exciting new year, we welcome a new blog here at Grace Tabernacle, Blogvotionals. My prayer is that this year you and I, along with many others, will be blessed as we take this long exciting road for the next 348 days together, hand in hand with Christ our Lord. Please email us, Team GT, at blogvotionals@outlook.com with comments, questions, or post content requests.

We look forward to the journey!

Happy New Year from Team GT
